YOUNGSTOCK FOALS MARES STALLIONS 2025 Foals

Tawna Aramis

Chestnut and white colt

Born 13/04/25

Sire: Breckenlea Scenario

Dam: Tawna Agnes

SOLD Our beautiful Agnes can always be relied upon to give us a super baby and this lad definitely fits the bill. He is strong, proud and so very handsome.

Full brother to Red Ember, Aimee, Apollo and Amber - all prize-winners, he looks equally special - lovely head, bold eye, super outline and loads of “look at me”. He’s one for the show ring.

He’s got a huge personality to match his substantial build, and always has the most pleasant expression. Love him!

Tawna Frankel

Chestnut and white colt

Born 16/04/25

Sire: Tawna Rubus

Dam: Tawna Florentina

SOLD Frank is such a character. At only a few days old, he was bold, confident, independent and full of mischief. He is very friendly with people and makes sure he gets attention when visitors arrive in the field.

He has lovely markings - blaze, full set of perfectly matched socks and fascinating little white markings on his body which earned him the pet name Mr Squiggles!

Frank is a smart-looking foal with a beautiful small head, plenty of presence and correct conformation

Tawna Fritz

Chestnut and white colt

Born 20/04/25

Sire: Tawna Rubus

Dam: Tawna Freckles

SOLD This is Freckles’ third foal, and her first colt. The previous fillies were both bay and white, like their mum, but this lad has taken after his daddy in colouring.

He is our third skewbald with a beautiful blaze this year - his has the bonus of actually having a few freckles of colour near his muzzle - cute.

Fritz is incredibly pretty with an exquisite head, good bone, and lots of presence. Now castrated, he will be making some appearances in the show ring.

Tawna Pink Poppy

Chestnut roan filly

Born 21/04/25

Sire: Tawna Rubus

Dam: Tawna Pansy

NOT FOR SALE Pansy popped out this lovely foal at dawn on Easter Monday.

She is a really strong, well-developed, upstanding filly - full sister to blue roan Iris, and skewbald Borage.

Wishing to follow our plant/flower theme for this family, she just had to be Poppy (and once we were sure she was roaning-out, we have added ‘Pink’). Such a pretty name, and most appropriate, being born shortly before the amazing display of ceramic poppies at the Tower of London to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

Shown at two shows as a weanling, she gained three firsts & overall reserve foal champion. Photo taken October at SWSPG autumn show

Poppy SWSPG Nov 2025.jpg

All available foals have been sold.

Further photos, videos and details upon request.

Foals can be booked with a non-returnable deposit - and they will be available in the Autumn. Distance buyers will receive updates throughout the summer, and local buyers are welcome to come and bond with their foals as they grow up.

All the foals will be micro-chipped, registered, and passported with the SPSBS. They will be well-handled, properly halter broken, and carefully weaned and eating hard food before leaving us. They will have been foot-trimmed and wormed during the summer.

If required, colts can be castrated by our vets - at cost - before being weaned.

Tawna Amelia

Palomino filly

Born 02/05/25

Sire: Tawna Champagne Charlie

Dam: Tawna Alice

NOT FOR SALE Alice kept us waiting for ages, her belly worryingly getting ever more colossal, but her baby has turned out to be quite diminutive.

We are over the moon that this is a filly, and palomino. Alice is a very possessive mother, but the baby takes little notice - like last year’s Aloysius, she is naturally bold, friendly, and extremely placid.

We’ve had the name Amelia lined up for a long time - having a cousin of that name and always thinking it is pretty. Have just been waiting for the appropriate recipient to arrive! Amelia is a real little darling - so friendly and sweet-natured.

Tawna Sirius

Dun colt

Born 07/05/25

Sire: Tawna Champagne Charlie

Dam: Tawna Celeste

SOLD  It’s four years since Celeste last had a foal so it’s wonderful to see her with a baby again. She’s a really lovely mare, and two of her previous colts - Orion and Jupiter - are now licensed stallions.

Siri is a gorgeous shade of dun. He’s so pretty that when he was born, I was sure it was a filly! If only….

However, he is shaping up to be a very smart young man - beautifully proportioned, with a tiny head, and so much style. His purchaser plans to run him on to potentially license him - we think he will make a super quality stallion.
